 At Camp Sunburst, campers and volunteers alike are encouraged to open their hearts and to share their gifts through artistic expression. This expression may differ greatly from person to person but the spirit in the environment of creation is consistent — each person is encouraged and free to be themselves.
A few past projects have included poetry, song writing, newsletters, painting, clay work, quilt making, and arts and crafts. Mask and costume making, creating talking sticks, walking sticks and dream catchers, and dreaming goddesses and making them come to life are always favorites. Some prefer to express through movement and the body. Whatever the project and whatever the medium, creative abandon is highly encouraged!
