Corporate/Foundation Partnerships
Meet a few of our corporate and foundation donors:
Until Theres A Cure Foundation has developed the Partnership Program with HIV/AIDS services providers to use their beautifully designed bracelet as a fundraising opportunity. Sunburst Projects will receive 25% of the total revenues generated from bracelet sales purchased on the Until Theres A Cure Web site when you mention Sunburst Projects. All remaining funds from sales go directly into providing financial support for HIV/AIDS treatment and care services nationally.
The Bracelet is worn to help people recognize that anyone man, woman, or child can be infected and that it is up to each of us to be responsible and understanding.
Please go to www.utac.org to buy The Bracelet now. On the Checkouts Shipping/Billing Information page, under Referral Information choose Sunburst Projects from the drop down menu after If you were referred by one of our partners...
The Milagro Foundation is the charitable public foundation established in 1998 by Deborah and Carlos Santana. The Milagro Foundation makes grants to community based organizations that work with children around the world in the areas of the arts, education, and health and have been a part of our Camp Sunburst donor family since 1999.
We at Sunburst believe like the Milagro Foundation that life is a miracle (milagro) and that children everywhere deserve the opportunity to lead educated, safe, healthy and creative lives.

Read the November 2005 People Magazine article about Milagro Foundations work and Camp Sunburst entitled Perfect Harmony.
The Community Foundation Sonoma County awarded Sunburst Projects $4,000 in 2005 from its Donor Advised Funds to send two teens living with HIV/AIDS to South Africa to help educate their peers.
Participating in the first summer camp program held outside of Cape Town for HIV/AIDS families, these teens shared their life stories and learned about African culture. The camp was sponsored by Jackson Memorial Hospital in Cape Town and Fertile Ground a small non-profit dedicated to eradicating HIV/AIDS in South Africa.
Each year since 1997, Macys West Passport Fund has supported Camp Sunburst.
The Capital City AIDS Fund (CCAF) is a non-profit organization which was founded in 1995 to organize and stage events that raise money to support HIV/AIDS services in the Sacramento area.
Specifically, CCAFs activities support a community fund that donates to various Capital area non-profit agencies that provide HIV/AIDS services. Sunburst Projects was a beneficiary in 2005 of An Evening with Oscar hosted by the Capital City Aids Fund benefiting local HIV/AIDS services in Sacramento.

Sunburst Projects and Camp Sunburst is grateful for TTFF generosity and financial support that provides our children a free once-in-a-lifetime camping experience at Camp Arroyo in Livermore. TTFF built Camp Arroyo in partnership with the East Bay Regional Park District to enrich the lives of children with life-threatening diseases and disabilities in Northern California. The camp's operator, YMCA of the East Bay, assist with staffing in addition to facilitating their outdoor environmental education program during the school months. Camp Arroyo is the state-of-the-art camp facility built with kids in mind. The camp's design takes into consideration the children's physical and emotional needs and offers a lot of fun in a safe and loving environment.
